MVP offers a baby pool and a main pool with 6 lanes for lap swimming, a diving area, and a shallow play area. The pool is open from April through October each year.
Members are responsible for advising their guests of MVP Club rules and procedures. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests. Members must accompany guests at all times in order for the guests to use MVP facilities, including the pool and surrounding area. Adult MVP members can sign in guests who are children.
Guests are defined as non-family members accompanying an MVP member who will use the pool facilities (pool, surrounding area, grills, etc.). Guests are required to pay a $5 guest fee in cash or with check made payable to “Moraga Valley Pool” at the time of entry. The MVP staff or lifeguard will collect the guest fees for pool usage, or the guest fee should be left in the office. The number of swimming guests per family is limited to six (6).
A member’s immediate family (grandparent, aunt or uncle, etc.) does not have to pay a guest fee. A caregiver accompanying the children of an MVP member (nanny, Au Pair, babysitter, etc.) is not required to pay a guest fee. The caregiver is expected to provide child supervision at all times, while in or out of the pool. If a caregiver or immediate family member brings other people to the pool, including children, and these people will use the MVP facilities, they must pay a guest fee.
Pool Guest Punch Cards are available for purchase with cash or check for $40 at the pool entrance. Each $40 Punch Card covers 10 guest entries. The Pool Guest Punch Card will be “hole punched” by a lifeguard every time a guest enters the MVP facilities. Members are responsible for their Punch Cards and there are no refunds or replacement for lost cards.
Any person not included on an MVP membership who is entering the pool facilities must sign the Acknowledgment of Risk Waiver. Adult MVP members can sign in guests who are children.
