Our program is a structured, safe and fun summer camp for MVP members ages 6-11.

SUMMER 2024 SCHEDULE
Camp Marlin will run for 8 weeks, Monday-Friday from 8:30 am-2:30 pm. Campers will be engaged in weekly fun and educational themes and activities. You are invited to sign up for any or all of the weeks that work for your family!
Week 1: June 3-7: "Welcome Marlins"
This week is filled with exciting crafts, competitions, and team-building activities.
Week 2: June 10-14: "Inventor's Workshop"
This week is geared toward the engineer inside every camper. Spend the week assembling everyday items into your own awesome innovations. The only limit is your imagination!
Week 3: June 17-21: "A Pirate's Life"
Arr, mateys. Join in on treasure hunts, swimming competitions, and our newfangled "Speak Like A Pirate" course.
Week 4: June 24-28 "Red, White, & Blue"
Celebrate our nation's independence at MVP! Ramp up to the 4th of July with patriotic crafts, read-out-louds about our nation's history, and a tug o' war challenge.
Please note that there will be no Camp Marlin the week of July 4th.
Week 5: July 8-12 "Space Academy"
Blast off into week 5 of camp! Enjoy gravity challenges, out-of-this-world solar system art projects, and design challenges.
Week 6: July 15-19 "Splish Splash – Under the Sea"
Down where it's better, MVP Marlins will feel right at home this week. Jump into a water fight of epic proportions, partner up for a water balloon toss, and dive into awesome ocean crafts.
Week 7: July 22-26 "Weird Science"
If science is your thing, this week is sure to be your favorite. Explore the natural phenomena at MVP, engage in Lego excavations, and experiment with your own slime recipes.
Week 8: July 29-August 2 "Spirit Week"
As we ramp up to OMPA, campers show their MVP pride by making their own spirit wear and decorative art projects. Go Marlins!
FOR KIDS AGES 6-8
The program offers supervised outdoor camp activities, tennis clinics, and free play throughout the day. Camp counselors will escort campers to and from their swim and tennis practices, clinics, and lessons so they have a safe transition and enjoy a variety of activities throughout the day in addition to camp.
FOR KIDS AGES 9-11
Wanting our “big kids” to have a space of their own, we have a “Chill Zone” with seating, shade, ping pong tables, and board games. They will be escorted to swim and tennis practices, clinics and lessons. They have the freedom to move between the organized program and the Chill Zone as it interests them.
CAMP DIRECTORS
Sean Brennan and Kelly Trestrail are excited to be back, directing Camp Marlin for the 6th summer! Both are teachers at Del Rey Elementary School and are looking forward to spending the summer with the Marlin community!
ENROLLMENT COST
Weekly price includes tennis instruction for all campers.
- For ages 6-8, cost is $375 per week.
- For ages 9-11, cost is $350 per week.
We expect Camp Marlin to fill up quickly. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up early!
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
- If you notify us before April 1st, you can apply for a 100% refund.
- If you notify us between April 1–May 1, you can apply for a 100% credit on your account for a future enrollment, or a 75% refund.
- If you notify us between May 1–June 1, you may receive a 100% credit on your account for a future registration, or 50% refund.
- After June 1, you may receive a 75% credit on your account.
- Once a program begins, we cannot make any adjustments or offer any credits.
